commercial Photography
Focusing mainly around the areas of people, products and places, Simon has years of experience shooting commercial photography for businesses, brands and agencies that are used for advertising and marketing.
He works with some clients who are unsure about what it is they want or need to agencies who have a very clear creative brief including styling, props, mood boards and lighting diagrams. Either way, he is happy to input into the creative process, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure the final images meet the brief.
- Full & half-day rates available
- Photography assistant is required on most shoots
- Travel & sustenance charged to final invoice
The following services are all in addition to the photography but often as integral as the shoot. This will be discussed and agreed with the client as an extra charge may be applied.
pre & post production
Depending on your requirements for the shoot, how the final images will be used and how much time this will involve e.g. researching, planning, organising, usage and processing of the images.
Retouching, cutouts & grading
Following any shoot, the final images will supplied electronically in the format required by the client, whether this is a particular colour grade, size, ratio etc... More complex and time consuming can also be offered depending on needs e.g. heavy retouching, cutting out products to put on a white/coloured background, adding shadows.
Location scouting
Not sure if your vision can be achieved in a studio or at your workplace, then a location house can be hired to realise this vision. There are many across the UK, each with their own unique style and decor.
Styling & Creative Services
If you're thinking about working with models or you have a product/service that needs promoting, it may require something or someone in addition to the photographer to achieve the vision. Links and recommendations to the following can be supplied if required:
- Model agencies & casting
- Hair and makeup artists
- Clothing stylists
- Food and drink stylists
- Production services
- Creative and art direction
- Illustration
videography
It often works out more cost effective to combine photography and videography on the same set, on the same day but this also means less time can applied to each discipline. Recommendations to videographers can be supplied or organised as part of the shoot.
